Research Council for Complementary Medicine
This one-day conference in London hosted by Middlesex University will explore what benefits there could be of integrating complementary medicine approaches with conventional medicine. Besides a number of keynote speakers including Professor Fan Qu from King's College London and Dr. Peter Mackareth from Christie NHS Trust, there will also be opportunity for researchers to present work relating to the area of integrative medicine.
During this conference, Dr. Lily Lai will give 2 presentations, briefly discussing with researchers, clinicians and practitioners:
- Results from the ORCHID study, a feasibility study investigating the effects of Chinese herbal medicine for symptoms of polycystic ovary syndrome
- Conducting herbal research in the UK: Lessons learnt from a feasibility study in primary care
