Kimchi Making Class by Capital Growth

  • Regent's Park Allotment Garden NW1 4NR London United Kingdom (map)

Capital Growth,  London's food growing network, is hosting a Kimchi making class on Friday 25th September!

Kimchi is a delicious fermented Korean starter or side-dish made of a variety of vegetables and seasonings such as Chinese lead, radish and cucumber.

'Come and join us at Regent's Park Allotment Garden on Friday 25 September from 4 pm to 6:30pm - we'll be discussing, making and eating kimchi - alfresco !  Weather permitting, we do have an alternative space.
This workshop is a two hour introduction to the art of vegetable fermentation. We will make Maki Kimchi (translates as everyday kimchi), as well as a salad kimchi (with ingredients straight from the garden), which we'll eat as part of a light meal. You'll take home your Maki Kimchi and a print-out of detailed instructions and recipe ideas. See you there!'
