Canoeing in the Park - Osterley Park and House

Splash out this Sunday and try out canoeing with your family and friends on our middle lake

Take the opportunity to 'get active' while exploring our historic middle lake. Learn the basic skills and techniques of canoeing from qualified specialist instructors. Whether a seasoned canoeist or completely new to watersport; come down and test the waters at Osterley.

Get Set Go Dacorum: Let's Dance for 55 years and over

Get Set Go Dacorum: Let’s Dance – a happy fusion of getting active, getting involved and getting healthy through the power of dance and movement. We are pleased to extend our programme right through the year. If you are 55 years and over, looking to mix dance and fitness then this may be the activity for you. To avoid disappointment, book early as places are limited. The classes are run by professional, experienced dancer Louise White.

There are two dance classes held in the theatre at The Old Town Hall on a Monday – in the morning between 11am and 12.30pm and in the afternoon between 1pm and 2.30pm.

The classes focus on mobility, fitness and creative dance with light stretches, moving towards simple routines.

You will need to wear something loose that you feel comfortable dancing in, you can have bare feet or wear some soft shoes that you can move safely in.
